STORY FACTS: January 2013: Chinese cat trafficker caught with over 1,000 cats in transit  to the cat slaughterhouse, for cat-sausages for kindergarden children (yes, you read that correctly.)

It is my mission to raise awareness of dogs and cats caught in these situations and to share good outcomes as they arise.

Thank you for sharing this story. That sort of thing is evil. I wish pet lovers of the world would unite to improve the lives of all pets and stop this sort of madness.

Thanks for sharing; such an appalling story! I read an article on this noting that the Chinese find cat to be a delicacy; makes me sick to my stomach!

Those poor kitties. Unfortunately, some cultures don’t think or believe what we believe. Those poor animals.

Thank you for getting the word out about such horrible happenings in the animal world. It is the only way to put a stop to it. I am so glad that those three felines were adopted together.

Keep up the good work Pepi. I did a post on the Chinese cats. Doesn’t seem like
their lives have improved all that much especially in rural areas.
