@Staffpurrson
@staffpurrson should receive a medal for enduring love and loyalty to his fur family. Most staff have experienced the heartbreak of losing a pet, but to loose four pets in one year is truly heartbreaking beyond words.
Staffpurrson is dad to @Mulder_Cat, @Scully_Cat, SerenaTheCat and MadelynTheCat, who are all here over the Rainbow Bridge. When Mulder was diagnosed with cancer, Staffpurrson nursed him impeccably.

Staffpurrson, who has a fulltime job, began Mulder’s Chemo Therapy and had to make sure Mulder swallowed his medical pills everyday, 7 days a week. Of course, Mulder hated the pills and refused to take them. The normally mild mannered Mulder, who thought a good day was laying in his “box”, became monster-man as soon as anyone attempted to give him a pill.
Everyday for close to a year, Staff loaded Mulder in his pet carrier, drove him to the Vet to be pilled, drove him home and then went to work, often in terrible weather. Staff did this for almost an entire YEAR ! This was nothing but love, for his dear friend Mulder.
Mulder did not relent his view on pills; it was his way of saying he was still “the man-cat.” Staff spent huge amounts of money, time and effort, but none of that mattered…it was for Mulder ! Tragically, Mulder did not win his battle, and Staff was there to help Mulder across the Rainbow Bridge.

Almost immediately after Mulder’s passing, @Sculley_Cat was also diagnosed with cancer. This was particularly tragic, because Mulder, Scully and Staffpurrson had been together for over 12 years ! Sadly Sculley’s fight was over too soon, with Staffpurrson holding her, as she too crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, joining her brofur Mulder.
At this point I want to share with you all, that Mulder, Scully and I had a lot of fun dancing in my Pram/Stroller as we all travelled thru the Universe, heading to Scully’s Welcome Banquet. Mulder and Scully both joined me on stage for the Anipal Academy Awards, where they each received their own Dimaond motorcycle for Mulder, and Diamond Scooter for Scully, as well as their own Stars.
Mulder and Scully’s passing away left a terrible hole in Staff’s heart. His house was just too empty without his beloved kittehs, but it wasn’t too long before his Vet asked for his help, for two Golden Oldie kitteh girls who needed an urgent ‘forever family.”

@MadelynTheCat
@MadelynTheCat and @SerenaTheCat were sisfurs who had spent their 12 year old lives with the same family. In an act of betrayal, their original family took them both to the vet and left them there. (I was taken to an animal shelter at 12 years old when my first family had to move into live in a nursing home; I wasn’t just dumped like these poor kittehs.)
Staffpursson opened his heart to these two golden oldie grils, brining them home, looking forward to forming bonds that would last for years. Just days later, when Madelyn was taken back to the vet to have something checked, the vet discovered a cancerous mass inside Madelyn. Although Madelyn only had one week with Staffpursson, she knew she now had a ‘forever family’ with a human who would never betray her.

@SerenaTheCat
In a tragic sequence of events, it was only weeks after Madelyn died, that SerenaTheCat began having issues. This must have sent a shudder down Staff’s spine. Last night Staff took Serena to the Vet, where she stayed overnight, on painkillers. This morning the vet discovered Serena was riddled with cancer. Once again poor Staffpurrson had to make the wretched decision to euthanize his fourth kitteh in one year.
I salute @Staffpurrson for his loyal love to Mulder and Scully, as well as taking two unwanted golden oldie sisfur kittehs. In his ever humble and understated manner, Staffpurrson said to me: I didn’t adopt Madelyn and Serena knowing they were sick. I’m not a saint.”
As an advocate for Golden Oldies, I know not many humans would have bothered with Madelyn and Serena. It’s difficult enough to re-home one elderly pet, but re-homing two lifelong elderly sisfurs is almost impossible. Everything Staffpurrson has gone thru this year, along with his unending efforts to save his beloved pets, makes him a saint.
Many Staff could learn so much from you ! We are privileged to be your friend and we pray your heart will soon feel the warmth of the sun again. We love you and together, we all salute you; you are an inspiration to many around you. *raises paw to salute* When you see @Staffpurrson on Twitter, please stop and give him a hug; he surely deserves one !
*leans out of Pram and waves* What a view !
