About Me

At 18 years old, after an unexpected reaction to a medicine, I crossed over the Rainbow Bridge September 16th, 2009. Prior to that I was the Official Poster Boy for The Animal Welfare League, Queensland, Australia animal shelter (@AWLQ.)  I was already a Celebrity DOG,  appearing in newspapers and magazines and television, as a model Golden Oldie.

I was particularly famous for my fashion outfits and Pram/Stroller.  Mum and I used to run 7 miles everyday , over very steep  hills. To rest my legs, Mum would let me get my breath in my Pram, and then I would get out again and keep running too. At 18 years old I could still run one third of the run on my own paws. And yes, I ALWAYS wore running outfits and would bark at Mum if she didn’t put them on me !

Then I joined Twitter and quickly became a global Multi-Media Celebrity.  I also became a DOG Reporter for TheAnipalTimes.com, where I write Hard News, Sparklicious Fashion and Over The Rainbow Bridge articles, as well as Interviews and Reviews. I am also an Author, as well as a flamboyant Barktender at most Twitter Pawties and Anipal Fund Raisers. And now I have my own Website ! *moondances across the room*

Being OTRB hasn’t slowed me up at all. Since arriving, I meet Pals at the Bridge in my Pram, and then drive them to their “Welcome Banquet”, where all our Rainbow Bridge Pals are waiting to greet them. Join me on Twitter at @PepiSmartDog, or FaceBook. Please stop by and say Hi !
