Welcome to our Sunday Selfie: Its Her And Us! Michele is my human typist who is always behind the camera, as the photographer. As a one-off, I’m featuring her. BOL! The following photo was taken a couple of weeks ago in Sri Lanka, at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, which she documented and took 2,238 photos of elephants, plus videos. *rolls eyes and faints* Her elephant article will be ready in a couple of days and we’ll be posting the link.
And now it’s us! Hee Hee!
Tahni is a Lynx Point Siamese and Suki is a Seal Point Siamese. They have been sisfurs since six weeks old, and we got them after they were handed into our local animal rescue when their owner had to relocate overseas. They both failed foster and were on death row, then we got them and love them!
Apple is a Russian Blue, also a rescue. We got Apple when he was only young and not so long ago he weighed 28lb (13kg.) He is huge all over – bighead, big paws, tall, long, etc. He has to have dog sized xrays, dog sized wormers, etc. All cat things are too small for him, especially cat beds! Fortunately he is really laid back and very happy, and loves dogs! He is always smiling.
And don’t forget about me!
Hope you enjoyed our selfies today. We know it’s something different but normally ‘she’ never takes selfies, so we thought you might like to meet her too. Join us next week for more of our wildlife pals which we look after each day. Don’t forget to join our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop – it stays open all week. Hope to see you visit us again real soon. *waves paw* :=o)
