Welcome to our Sunday Selfie project: the Little Black Comornat. He’s a brownish-black water bird with a dull green shade to his plumage. He likes to hang out with our other species of waterbirds, such as darters, herons and egrets.

Selfie of out Little Black Cormorant. See his beautiful eye color.
He’s a great swimmer and mainly eats fish, but also enjoys insects, molluscs and crustaceans.

Very difficult to catch the right lighting to see a black bird’s eye color and range of colors in his plumage.

Drying off after swimming for fish.
Hope you enjoyed meeting our Little Black Comorant. Hope he inspires you to come back and visit us real soon. Don’t forget our Thankful Thursday blog hop. π Everyone is envitbited.
Thank you,

A magnificent bird. So incredibly lovely.
What beautiful pictures. Wow!
Cormorants are such amazing birds. They fly like ducks, dive like hawks, and swim like penguins. Great selfies! π
He is beautiful. We like to see the wings spread. Love to watch them π Pawkisses for a not-so-hot Day π <3
His eyes are like opals aren’t they? Dazzling colours on an interesting bird.
