Welcome to the home of the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Hope you enjoyed your week and didn’t have too many exciting things all happening at once.
We are very thankful that Suki is still with us. She gave us a big scare on Sunday night when she couldn’t breath properly. Her little body was heaving and her face was contorted as she made terrible sounds from her nose. This story has a happy ending!

Suki at the Emergency Animal Hospital on Sunday night.
We did a small freak out, then quickly put Suki into the transport cage and headed to the 24 hour Emergency Animal Hospital. Last week we started feeding Suki the little kitten biscuits, because she needs to put ‘on’ weight, but because they are so small we think she breathed one in the wrong way and it lodged in the wrong spot.
As soon as we got on the freeway Suki started doing “the call of her people” – (love that saying), and screaming non-stop like a police siren. When we arrived at the hospital and placed Suki’s crate on the examination table – there was nothing wrong with her. She had a miraculous recovery in the car, in the middle of all the screaming!
The vet thought we were nuts and Suki got to spend $200 on the plastic square.
Then we drove home. BOL! Suki now has a raised food bowl too.
We are thankful our little orphan kangaroo joey is still doing great. He’s growing and looking really good.

Baby looks like he’s laughing.

Action baby!
Today we had the best animal rescue: a false alarm. We took call that one of our black swans had a broken leg, but when we arrived, it turns out he was just stretching his leg. BOL! We thanked the people profusely for caring and told them we really do love false alarms.
What are you thankful for this week? Please join our blog hop so we can visit you and read your post too. Hope to see you back here again real soon. *waves paw* :=o)
