Nicholas is living large now he’s over the Rainbow Bridge. He was already large in size, 20lb but now he’s large in everything else too. Should see how much food he can tuck away in one go!
He’s told me so many fun stories how he was an outside tough-boy cat who thought the word pawty meant punching in another kitteh’s head, to a cuddly indoor kitteh who taught his fur-sibs the art of toy-mouse torture.
He has a Black Belt in Mouse ! *impressive* At first I couldn’t see his belt either, but as he pointed out, against his black fur, his black belt sort of blends in. HIs mom sure will be surprised when she reads this.
Nick was about 14 years old when he arrived OTRB February 2012. He is one of the @Tattlecat family, his brofur Herman does the tweeting. Nick guided and protected his adopted family for a full twelve years, before taking his journey in my Pram/Stroller. He started off as a very stinky feral cat, which took his adopted family an entire year of feeding him good food to get rid of his stickiness. BOL !
Apart from his toy mouse, one of Nick’s specialities was allowing ‘you’ to do your upper body workout by brushing him, and as you recovered in front of the TV, it was mandatory to nurse him. He is always thinking of ways to help you. Of course if you sat down to nurse him outside and brushed him at the same time, that would have been Nick’s 3 favourite things all at once ! *warm and fuzzy face*
His mom knew he loved to dress up for Halloween, but I don’t think she knew Nick enjoyed dressing for sporting occasions too. Since being OTRB, Nick has joined the Running and Climbing Clubs. He has thrilled lots of little pals here telling his story about the day he out-ran a Fox! Of course the foxes here are very impressed! Lucky for all of us, we all get along as one big family.
Plus, Nick enjoys the lycra running suits. I can totally understand that, I was famous for my German jogging suit before arriving OTRB. Nothing better than a training session at your favourite club, then a large meal, followed by a BIG nap in the sun. We can eta anything and do everything, so we don’t have to jump on and off weight scales. BOL !
When Nicholas’s mom unexpectedly finds herself standing on the Rainbow Bridge, Nicholas will be there to meet her. But until that time Nick is surrounded by happy pals and together we all laugh, play, nap and nom…then do it all again.
We only have happy memories. Besides, as soon as we crossed the Rainbow Bridge Gates, we all got new stuff: I got new kidneys and new eyes and Nicholas got his new stuff too. Our bodies are refreshed and renewed.
To Nicholas’s mom: you will be a forever family again; not just yet. If you find yourself worrying if Nicholas really is alright, please watch my one minute Rainbow Bridge video. It is followed by our main video: Rainbow Bridge Guided Tour. Both videos are made by me.
