Welcome to our Thankful Thursday weekly blog hop. Countdown to Christmas! *scream with excitement* Are you ready for the fat man to squeeze into your kennel or your cat bed?
Meet Larry, the Chihuahua. He’s one of our regular blog hop pals who posts here each week. His family portrait cracked me up!
Larry shows us the importance of dressing right for the occasion. If your humans throw a Xmas pawty and things start to get a bit dull, take a bone out of Larry’s bowl and strut past wearing something that will outdo all the guests. Your sure to be the talking point of the pawty and your humans will thank you for livening things up!
Did you know Christmas is very hot in Australia? We are in the Southern Hemisphere so everything is the opposite – including the seasons. Santa has to wear his summer suit and his sleigh is pulled by Kangaroos, which are sometimes called “boomers.” It’s true! Check out the video:
Important Xmas Stuff
Our blog hop will still run as usual next week and we are open all week, so don’t forget to stop by and share your Christmas with us. For those of us who find Xmas a sad time, please stop by our Twitter #CatmasEve pawty! It is for pals who feel alone or a little lost during what is happy-for-some-but-not-for-all. It sure beats sitting at home staring into an empty food bowl!
Also, Festivus will be held on Facebook, Tuesday Dec 23rd, where everyone gets to air their grievances and show feats of strength! BOL! Its hosted by our favourite bear: Jed Bramwell. Festivus is also going to be a riot. Whatever you do, do not sit home alone, feeling sad. Get your paws typing and join us at Festivus and George’s Twitter #CatmasEve pawty.
Happy Holidays everyone! Thank you for everything you have given us throughout the year: your friendship and love means the world to us. We love you.
*Pepi, Apple, Tahni, Suki, Teddy Rupert, GoGo, 3 x giant Goldfish and Michele, all waving* :=o)
What are you thankful for this week? Please join our blog hop and whoop things up with us. Even if you’ve had a crumby week – take a load off and share it with us. Hopefully you will feel better and pick up a few smiles too. I’ll be visiting everyone’s website later tonight. Hope to see you back here next week. : =o)
